What Cristiano Ronaldo Learned This Week - No Chewing Gum At The Royal Palace.

Cristiano's love of chewing gum is something that he must have inherited from Alex Ferguson while at Man Utd. During the Spanish National Sports Awards held at the Royal Palace he turned up chewing gum, not realising that was frowned upon when attending events at the Royal Palace. Apparently royals abhor gum.

After being asked twice to dispose of it, he eventually acquiesces. With no rubbish bins in the vicinity (apparently royal don't like them either) he had no choice but to put the gum into his pocket.

There's another €5,000 suit ruined.
