Right, here we go again - Denmark are in town and we have a chance to exact a bit of revenge for the World Cup playoff defeat and if you aren't going to the Aviva then read on for details on where to watch Ireland vs Denmark in the UEFA Nations League.

Where to watch Ireland vs Denmark?

From BEHIND THE COUCH.

We jest. Christian Eriksen is out so it might not be too bad. The game is live on Sky Sports Football and Sky Sports Main Event. The game kicks off at 7.45pm on Saturday night, with coverage beginning at 7pm and 7.30pm on respective channels.

It isn't live on free to air TV in Ireland, so if you aren't sitting behind the paywall you will have to content yourself with full delayed coverage on Virgin Media Two from 11pm on Saturday night.

Are Ireland still crippled by injury?

Recommended

Perhaps not crippled, but we aren't walking erect either. Seamus Coleman is out, as is Stephen Ward and Jon Walters. Robbie Brady and James McCarthy remain out as both recover from broken legs. The better news is that Shane Long should be fit to start, and the man of the moment Matt Doherty is in line for his first competitive appearance for Ireland against the Danes.

We're not going to luck out and play Denmark's futsal team, are we?

No, that strange dispute has been resolved. Denmark will have their senior squad although they are shorn of the considerable influence of Christian Eriksen through injury.

That doesn't eliminate their threat entirely - Pione Sisto will be a handful on the left-wing and Yussuf Poulsen will be an aerial threat in the penalty area, but that attacking edge will certainly be denuded in Eriksen's absence.

Do Ireland need to win?

Ireland perhaps; Martin O'Neill almost certainly. O'Neill cannot afford another two defeats, and he was forced to answer questions about his job security ahead of this game. Wales and Denmark both have three points thus far, so an Ireland win could vault us into a contention that seemed light years away as we fell 4-0 behind in Cardiff. Lose, however, and Ireland will be staring relegation in the face.

So, a reminder on where to watch Ireland vs Denmark - it is live on Sky Sports Football and Sky Sports Main Event on Saturday night. Kick-off in Dublin is at 7.45.
