Who Thought A Song About A FIFA Executive Could Be So Damn Catchy?

Back in March, Trinidadian singer Karene Ashe unveiled her song 'Uncle Jack', a calypso piss-take about CONCACAF chief and FIFA VP Jack Warner. It's six minutes long and Ashe really has a go at Warner.

I didn't know Trinidadians held such ire for their Uncle Jack, but this is definitely the first song ever to namecheck Andrew Jennings, as this excerpt from Verse 5 shows:


As footballers ask for their earnings,
Well that is when you raise his wrath,
And if you mention - Andrew Jennings,
Is then self he start to froth;
De Warriors you see,
On the road to Germany,
Their pay issue ent settle yet;
When Jennings for fun,
Ask him- “Where de money gone”,
Warner start to fret,
Then unleash a whole new alphabet…
