11 Photos That Prove Jackie Tyrrell Is Hurling's Paul Galvin

We certainly weren't expecting to stumble across this today. We shouldn't have such preconceived notions of a hurler's sense of style or their use of instagram, but surely nobody outside of Kilkenny would have expected Jackie Tyrrell to be such a fashionista and prolific poster to social media.

His instagram account has plenty of shots of him in a more familiar setting, ie as an O'Neills-clad, helmeted camán-wielder, but for every Sportsfile image of Tyrrell with his game face on, there's just as many of the 32-year-old decked out in the most up-to-date threads, or paying tribute to other leaders in the style stakes.

He's not quite at the Paul Galvin level of GAA style icon, but he's making a good fist of it so far and is surely the leading stickman when it comes to clobber.
