The great and good of the camogie world will come together Saturday night for the 2022 PwC All-Star Awards. The All-Star and Soaring Star recipients will be announced.

When are the awards?

The awards take place on Saturday November 26th in Croke Park.

Who is nominated?

Kilkenny lead the way in this year's list of PwC Camogie All-Stars nominees. The All-Ireland champions have eleven players nominated, one more than beaten finalists Cork. Waterford have seven nominees, there are also five from Galway, two from Dublin and one from Limerick.

Kilkenny's Miriam Walsh, Cork's Katrina Mackey and Waterford's Lorraine Bray are in contention for the coveted PwC GPA Camogie Player of the Year award.

The nominees for the Manager of the Year award comprise all three grades. All-Ireland winning manager Brian Dowling of Kilkenny, Galway's Cathal Murray, and Premier Junior championship joint-managers Brian Kearney and Mark McFadden are all in contention.

All-Ireland intermediate camogie champions Galway have eleven nominees for this year's PwC Camogie Soaring Stars. There are seven nominees from Cork, five from Antrim and Meath, three efrom Armagh and Derry, and one each from Cavan and Clare.

Joanne Casey from Cork has been nominated for intermediate Player of the Year alongside Galway duo Lisa Casserly and Niamh McPeake.

An Antrim player will walk away with the premier junior Player of the Year award with teammates Dervla Cosgrove, Aine Graham and Emma Laverty all nominated.

How many years have the awards been on?

The first Camogie All-Star Awards took place in December 2004 in the Citywest Hotel, Dublin. 2022 marks the first year PwC have sponsored the awards. The brand also sponsor both the football and hurling awards that took place last month.
