I was hoping to tog out for a game of football in Kerry today but unfortunately I can't swim!

This was the scene at Pat Spillane's Templenoe GAA club yesterday after horrendous weather caused a flooding of the river Blackwater and therefore their training pitch, which sits close to the river.

If they didn't invent some sort of new water Gaelic football sport then one would have to say that this was an opportunity lost.
