As always, the Ulster Football Championship is one of the more competitive and popular of the provincial inter-county competitions, and tickets for this year's final between Armagh and Derry are very hard to come by.

The final is scheduled for this Sunday, May 14, to be played at St. Tiernach's Park in Clones, which offers a capacity of 29,000.

However, due to demand, Ulster GAA have only released tickets through GAA clubs, leading to fans lamenting the fact that the game was not moved to Croke Park.

One supporter wrote on Twitter: "Armagh and Derry fans could easily fill Croke park on Sunday.. Brutal hearing about fans who have travelled the length and breadth of the country all year and haven’t been able to get tickets."

Another spoke up for the fans who live outside of Armagh and cannot secure tickets through a club:

"I do get that clubs take priority as the backbone of the GAA. However, changing ticket access just for the final alone when so many loyal Armagh fans who no longer live in Armagh to have club membership have travelled the country during league & championship is disappointing."
