Martin Dunne will be out of action for at least a month after scans on his injury – sustained in the pre-match brawl between Cavan and Armagh – showed up multiple fractures in both his hand and wrist.

Dunne had gone to the Sports Surgery Clinic in Santry for a scan, and the Daily Star report today that it is believed the injury was sustained when someone accidentally walked on him during the row.

Whatever the cause, one thing is for sure, Dunne will not be available for Cavan's first qualifier at home to Westmeath in just over two weekend's time.
