It has been a long week for those involved Ballyragget's boisterous celebrations after their Kilkenny Intermediate Hurling Championship victory.

A small group of players celebrated a 21st birthday party two days following the win against Graigue-Ballycallan. Images and video from the night would end up on the front page of Thursday morning's national newspapers. They featured two naked women named Fifi and Sabrina, along with the cup which had been claimed. One image appeared to show a man involved in a sex act with one of the women.

It was reported on Friday that Gardaí had begun an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the capturing of the images. That situation has since developed according to the Kilkenny People. It's reported that a file on the matter is being prepared by GardaÍ and will be sent to the DPP in the coming weeks.

Some lads may wish to take parish priest Fr. Tommy Murphy's offer of confession after all.
