Dublin's recent dominance may be seen as mind-numbingly boring by the casual supporter, but we try and make it somewhat half-interesting by looking at some interesting numbers behind their 6 in a row success.

14.8

This is the average winning margin across five games. Dublin have had this All-Ireland very, very easy in truth. They've not played any of the seven other teams set to compete in Division One next year.

Mayo did cause them a lot of problems though same can't really be said of any of the other teams. They won their five games by a cumulative score of 74 points, averaging a winning margin of 14.8 points per match. Not too stressful at all really.

The amount of Dublin players with 8 All-Ireland medals. Stephen Cluxton, James McCarthy, Michael Fitzsimons, Kevin McManamon, Michael Darragh MacAuley, Phillip McMahon and Cian O'Sullivan all claimed their eighth medal last night.

Paidi O'Se, Denis "Ogie" Moran, Pat Spillane, Ger Power and Mikey Sheehy all won eight All-Ireland's with Kerry. Some of those Dublin players will aim to break that record next season. Would be a major surprise if the record wasn't broken before all those Dublin players retire.

The amount of clubs represented by Dublin this year. Parnells, Cuala, Na Fianna, Ballymun Kickhams, Ballyboden St. Enda's, Raheny, St. Jude's, St Oliver Plunketts Eoghan Rua, Castleknock, Templeogue Synge Street, Whitehall Colmcilles, Naomh Olaf, St. Peregrines and Kilmacud Crokes.

Also marks number of finals Mayo have lost in last eight years.
