Ryan McHugh has been ruled out for the remainder of the club season as he continues to recover from a second concussion this year. The Kilcar man will play no part in his club's attempts to retain the Donegal senior championship, after getting injured in a challenge match against St Vincents of Dublin last month.

Speaking to the Donegal Sport Hub, Kilcar manager Barry Doherty said "Ryan won't make it this year - regardless of how far we get." McHugh already suffered a concussion earlier in the season, while playing for his county in their last match of the Allianz League, against Tyrone.

Kilcar - who were already without the services of Paddy McBrearty - face Naomh Conaill in the quarter-final of the Donegal championship this Sunday.
