Cork have won their third All-Ireland title in four years, after a 0-10 to 0-09 win over 2016 champions Kilkenny in Croke Park.

The Munster side trailed by a point entering the final moments of the game, before Gemma O'Connor scored an outstanding point for draw level. As the game entered added time, O'Connor's shot flew over the bar.

The win is Cork's 27th All-Ireland breaking the record they jointly held with Dublin. Since Dublin's last All-Ireland title, Cork have won 13 titles.

Substitute Julia White scored the winning point, to ensure her name was etched into the Camogie history books.

While the win was a record for the Cork Camogie team, it also sent their captain Rena Buckley to the top of the All-Ireland medal standings. Buckley has now won 18 titles in both Camogies (seven) and Ladies Football (eleven).
