One very easy prediction we can make for 2019 is that by the end of it, Darragh Canavan won't be mentioned in the same breath as his father any more - he'll be well enough known in his own right.

The teenage sensation, who recently made his Tyrone senior debut, has been listed among the best scores of the 2018 fonacab Ulster Minor Tournament, thanks to his point for Errigal Ciaran against St Eunans.

Collecting the ball on the left, Canavan took on his own man and then two others, before slotting the bar over the bar while being knocked off balance.

Crossmaglen will play Bellaghy on New Year's Day in the final, while Canavan will no doubt feature for Tyrone again throughout the Dr McKenna Cup.
