Davy Fitzgerald Releases Emotive Statement To Confirm Resignation As Clare Manager

It's over. Davy Fitzgerald's time in charge of the Clare hurlers is over, as he confirmed his resignation in a statement released this evening. Fitzgerald says that the decision was reached following a discussion with the Joint Captains, who intimated the desire of the players to see a fresh face apppointed to the sideline for the 2017 season.
