His Dublin teammates are not the only ones grateful that Dean Rock stepped up to the mark this year. In addition to his All-Ireland winning free kick against Mayo, Rock gave a virtuoso performance - bar his knowledge about French football - on RTÉ's Know The Score.

In the rapid fire round, Shane Byrne and Kevin Doyle were rendered purposeless by Rock who answered all nine questions - he got seven right.
Though, it felt like he chose not to answer the final question out of pure embarrassment rather than lack of knowledge.
