According to the Department of Finance and Personnel (DFP), Down GAA won't be having a home game for quite some time, considering majority of the ground lies within County Armagh.

Although Páirc Esler is located on the Co. Down side of the Clanrye River and having a Co.Down address the stadium only has a small portion that lies in Co.Down.

A spokesperson for the DFP confirmed that,

"The majority of the Stadium lies within County Armagh and a small portion lies within County Down"

Hopefully the news won't affect Down players too much, although Armagh may have an added edge traveling to Down Armagh for any future encounters in Páirc Esler.
