It's been 25 long years since Dr Croke's won the All-Ireland club football title. They won it today though and Johnny Buckley gave a brilliant captain's speech that ended with one of the more touching moments we've ever seen in the Hogan Stand. After thanking the wives, girlfriends and sponsors, Buckley invited down young Amy O'Connor, a ten-year-old from Killarney who is bravely fighting cancer, to lift the cup with him.

Buckley said that O'Connor had visited the club last week and inspired them by saying she'd be attending the match in Dublin today.

With the crowd chanting 'Amy! Amy!', O'Connor walked down the Hogan Stand steps to lift the trophy with Buckley.

It was a beautiful moment that capped off a rousing Crokes win.
