Dublin's Davey Byrne has been released from hospital after suffering a fractured eye socket and a broken nose during a brawl in a challenge match against Armagh last Thursday.
The Evening Herald report that the incident happened before the throw-in.

Byrne was taken immediately to Beaumont hospital where he spent two nights. He will now not be available for selection for this weekend's Leinster Final.
Davey Byrne (not to be confused with Davy Byrne, the captain of Dublin's U21 side this year) captained Ballymun Kickhams to the 2013 club final.
Armagh face Galway in the qualifiers on 2.00 on Sunday.
