Errigal outlasted Dr Crokes in a thriller to reach the All-Ireland Senior Football Club Championship final with a 2-18 to 1-18 extra-time win in Kildare.
The match commenced in challenging conditions after a pitch-inspection prior to throw-in, in front of a strong crowd in Newbridge.
It was a fiercely contested meeting between two clubs from opposite ends of the country, with the Canavan brothers - Darragh and Ruairi - coming to the fore for Errigal.
The duo, sons of Tyrone legend Peter Canavan, shared all eight scores as their side took a 0-08 to 0-07 lead over Crokes into the half-time interval.
They continued to combine to great effect, with Ruairi finding Darragh who scored the game's first goal to give them a two-point lead which was quickly eradicated by their Kerry rivals.

The sides continued to trade blows before Tony Brosnan levelled things with a monster of a point for Crokes to leave it 1-12 to 0-15 with the clock approaching additional time.
Micheal Burns then put just enough purchase on his effort to lob it over the bar and put Crokes one ahead and all could have been lost for Errigal.
Two incredible scores take Errigal to first ever All-Ireland final
Errigal's Peter Óg McCartan would have the last act of regular time, keeping his side afloat by arcing his own effort between the posts to leave things level at the end of a dramatic 65 minutes.

A remarkable point in the circumstances.
Extra-time ensued and Canavan was denied a second goal after a stunning save from Crokes' goalie Shane Murphy, but they would eventually get their three-point score.
It too was a cracker. Some fine build-up play from Padraig McGirr and Eoin Kelly set the scene for Joe Oguz, whose finish was out of the top drawer.
The goal put daylight between the two teams and Crokes scrambled for a late equaliser in the Errigal box before the Ulster champions held on for a dramatic win.
