Here is the GAA.ie's selection of the top five goals that brought fans to their feet over the summer.

Kilkenny's Walter Walsh strike against Dublin in the early stages of Leinster Championship, Paul Ryan of the Dubs and Galway's David Burke each have a goal from the Leinster Hurling Final.

There is also the absolute bullet from Anthony Nash in the All-Ireland Hurling replay epic to spark the comeback from the Rebels or Conor McCrath's strike for Clare in the final 10 mins of the same match.
