Inspiring and moving stuff on Morning Ireland today as Des Cahill interviews Peter Ryan a promising young Tipperary hurler who sadly lost his sight in 2008. He has refused to let his condition curtail his sporting ambitions and competitive nature and he's hoping to make the Irish cycling Team in the Paralympic Games in Rio in 2016. He's already broken the Irish record in one of his first races so the sky's the limit for him. He was speaking to promote the charity Fighting Blindness and you can find out more about this great charity at www.fightingblindness.ie
