There was a brilliant and hilarious local lotto draw recently, in Meath GAA club Clan Na nGael.

What should have been a straightforward and simple task of pulling numbered ping pong balls out of a tumbler, turned into utter mayhem while the draw was being streamed live on Facebook.

In the video of the event which took place on April 18th, Seamus, who appears to be a well known figure within the GAA club, is given the job of pulling the balls out and handing them to his colleague to call out.

However, after the first two are pulled out, Seamus does not have the door closed on the tumbler, and naturally the ping pong balls go everywhere.

After returning the balls they try again, but once more the door is not shut properly and chaos ensues once more.

Like a scene from Father Ted, it showed the funny side to a most simple and common task, and is bound to put a smile the face of anyone who watches.
