The Junior D Football Championship semi-final between St. Colmcilles & Bective took place yesterday in St. Vincent’s. The host club showed great levels of ingenuity with the scoreboard. Names weren’t available but where there’s a will there’s a way & they made sure everyone knew which side was which as they sourced a pair of jerseys to use instead of names. St. Vincent’s have made great strides one & off the pitch in recent seasons & their grounds which were officially reopened in May are a credit to them.
