Cork have claimed the All-Ireland Senior Camogie title after a rallying second half display saw them edge out Kilkenny by a score of 2-11 to 1-9. Kilkenny had by far the best of the first half, going in 1-6 to 0-4 at half time. However, the second half was a different story and an excellent Jennifer O'Leary goal proved to be the defining score of the game.

Kilkenny tried to hit back but Cork held out and a late break saw Angela Walsh go through on goal and with the last action of the game she fired home to hand Cork the title.
