Galway won their third consecutive All-Ireland minor title with a comprehensive 3-14 to 0-12 win over Kilkenny at Croke Park on Sunday afternoon.

Galway's Sean McDonagh, who won Man of the Match, scored 2-8 of Galway's total while Ruben Davitt added 1-2.

It is the first time since Cork in 1971 that a county has won three minor hurling crowns on the bounce.
