Cork take on Galway in this year's All-Ireland Minor Hurling Final this weekend as the reigning champions take on the Leesiders who are gunning for their first Minor Hurling crown since 2001.

Cork's new wave of talent will be looking to continue its remarkable rise as they take on All-Ireland Minor Hurling kingpins Galway on Saturday night.

It will be a huge test for the Rebels, but it will be one that they are relishing nonetheless.


They come into the game fresh off the back of a Munster final win over Waterford, winning by 11 points.

That victory followed crushing wins over Clare and Limerick with Jack Leahy impressing with a tally of 4-34 so far.

Galway come into the game after seeing off Kilkenny in the All-Ireland semi-final last weekend by an eight-point margin.


Rory Burke's point-scoring prowess proved pivotal as they chase a remarkable five titles in a row.

They won the most recent decider against Kilkenny, although they only have one survivor from that team in the current set-up.

In the event of a drawn game, the clash will go to extra-time and will be decided on the night.
