Dublin meets Louth this upcoming weekend in the Leinster Senior Football Final. Dublin v Louth should be thrilling as Louth is the only team stopping Dublin from claiming a consecutive 13th Leinster title.

Both teams have performed well in the championship so far. Dublin saw past tough competition from Kildare in the semi-final, winning by two points. While Louth bet Offaly by six points after extra time to be back in contention for the title for the first time since their Leinster final defeat to Meath in 2010.

Dublin and Louth meet in a highly-intriguing match in the Leinster Senior football final. The men in blue are strong favorites to claim another Leinster football final title, which will take their tally to a total of 13 consecutive titles. The Dubs have had a relatively smooth journey to the final, beating Laois 4:30 to 2:09 in the quarter-final. They encountered a scare against Kildare in the semi-final, however, which saw them narrowly clutching victory, with the match ending 0-14 to 0-12. Louth, now under the new management of three-time All-Ireland winner Mickey Harte can't be ruled out. Louth beat Westmeath 2-10 to 1-11 in the quarter-final, before putting on a thrilling extra-time performance to beat Offaly by a scoreline of 0-27 to 2-15 to secure their place in this week's final.

Team News

Dessie Farrell has announced his Dublin Senior football panel to face Louth this Sunday. Dublin all-star and veteran, Stephen Cluxton keeps his place in the squad, after returning to the starting lineup for Dublin's semi-final win against Kildare. Which was his first start since the 2020 All-Ireland final. Farrell chose not to make any drastic changes from the starting 15 which beat Kildare, opting to start 14 of those players who were included in the starting 15 against Kildare. The only change made to Dessie Farrell's is the inclusion of Cormac Costello in corner forward in place of Ross McGarry.

Mickey Harte has made three changes to his squad since their extra-time victory against Offaly. Peter Lynch slots in at full-back, with the other two changes coming in the full forward line. Daire McConnon and Liam Jackson replace Ciaran Keenan and Dylan McKeown in both corners.
