We were intrigued to learn about the company EvoShield Ireland and their courting of the GAA market, particularly in hurling. EvoShield is a company based in the southern state of Georgia that sells protective gear to athletes in a range of American sports. EvoShield Ireland has an address in Rhode, Offaly and is courting the GAA market almost exclusively. They list Offaly captain Shane Dooley as one of the people who wears their wrist guards and some of their GAA products are listed below. It'll be interesting to see if the 'under armour' movement grows in hurling over the coming seasons to include wrist, forearms and finger shields.
