With the country in the midst of a cold snap, there was plenty of GAA action to watch. This weekend saw multiple teams pick up silverware. at provincial and All Ireland level.

In Ulster, Derry champions Glen prevailed to win their first Ulster crown against reigning All Ireland champions Kilcoo, winning 1-12 to 1-06 in a thrilling game.

In Munster, Kerry champions Kerins O'Rahilly's won their first provincial title, beating Limerick side Newcastle West 2-06 to 1-04.

The Clifford brothers fired Fossa to glory in the junior final, beating Cork's Kilmurry 1-17 to 1-06.

It was All Ireland Final Day on Saturday for both the senior and intermediate grades in the LGFA. In the senior decider, Galway's Kilkerrin-Clonberne made it back to back titles, dispatching Monaghan champions Donaghmoyne on a 0-13 to 0-07 scoreline.

In the intermediate decider, Longford Slashers triumphed, beating Tipperary's Mullinahone by 4-11 to 2-08.
