We at Balls.ie have teamed up with @AnalysisGAA to bring you a new type of stat that measures the immeasurable. The most commonly used word by coaches, commentators, and pundits when describing a good performance is "Intensity".

Recommended

When in possession, coaches want speed, accurate passing, lots of running, creating space, accurate shooting. When not in possession coaches want "intensity", and every coach will teach "you need to work twice as hard when you don't have the ball". So our stat gives a number to each team post game based on five key factors when the team is not in possession.

Our graphic below shows what is required, and we have crunched the numbers to determine who came out on top this past week. Check back every week for more updates.
