Jim McGuinness was speaking after Donegal's win over Laois on Saturday when he raised concerns over the treatment which he believed his players had received in previous games.

In particular he referred to the injury which Mark McHugh sustained during the Ulster final against Monaghan and how he feared that one of his players could suffer a serious "spinal cord injury or neck injury" in the future.
