Report: Joe Brolly Initiates Legal Proceedings Against RTÉ
By Donny Mahoney Updated

There was some very interesting news from the Four Courts today as it appears former RTÉ GAA pundit Joe Brolly has started legal proceedings against RTÉ.

According to a number of court reporters, Brolly has brought a defamation case against the national broadcaster.

There has no been no comment from Brolly, his legal team or RTÉ regarding the matter.

Brolly's most recent appearance on RTÉ came in March as a panelist on a Claire Byrne Live debate on a United Ireland. He was had his microphone cut in the middle of his appearance after making critical comments about the DUP.
