Speaking on the Sunday Game, Joe Brolly stated that he had been to visit RTÉ presenter Michael Lyster in hospital following his health troubles.

Brolly said that Lyster "looks great" and that "you wouldn't believe that he'd had a heart attack".

I actually went into see him this morning and I was delighted to see the nurses genuflecting as they brought him his medicine.

I should say this, I know a lot of people are anxious but he looks great, he really looks great. You wouldn't believe that he'd had a heart attack.

He said 'I think I'll be able to do the programme next week' and you should see the look of horror on his wife Ann's face.

He was quite serious. He looks great. It was quite reassuring to see him looking so well.

In an interview with the Sunday World, Lyster explained how the calmness and first aid training of his wife had saved his life.
