Kerry and Donegal have been fined a tidy amount for their showtime brawl in Division One of the National League last week.

That hated body, the despised roundtable that is the CCCC have delivered their verdict.

Both teams have been hit with heavy fines of €7.500 while Neil McGee has been given a one-game ban. Fitzgerald retaliated and was sent off after seven minutes.

He did gain the approval of Paul Galvin, who refused to back down when rival supporters attacked him for praising Fitzgerald.

McGee will miss the next League at home to Roscommon in Letterkenny.

It's a game Donegal have no chance of winning anyway.
