Kerry Football Does Not Always Mean Incredible Genius

Here's proof, if you needed it, that the Kerry footballers took their Munster Championship celebrations to heart. Dr. Croke's beat South Kerry 0-11 to 0-5 last weekend in Cahirciveen and many of the Kerry stars involved were not their usual talismanic selves. The Gooch managed no points, Declan O'Sullivan was sent off and Bryan Sheehan missed a shedloads of frees. The quality of the game was probably still higher than Meath-Galway, but the idea of a Kerry club side only managing 5 points in a match seems heretical.
