James Horan's outfit will take on Kerry in Fitzgerald Stadium this Sunday in the first game of the All-Ireland quarter-final series but they are set to do so without star half-back Patrick Durcan who has been ruled out with a leg injury.

Durcan suffered the injury during their qualifier victory over Galway last week and was taken off in the second half. Per the Connaught Telegraph, Durcan is out and will be replaced by Donal Vaughan for the tie.

It is just the latest blow for Mayo who are already without Matthew Ruane and Diarmuid O'Connor. The pair both starred in the League Final earlier this year.

Kerry are yet to name a team but there is good news for Peter Keane with James O'Donoghue fit to start if selected. Killian Young is also back in training.

The game gets underway in Killarney at 4 pm.
