Michael Healy-Rae was at the Ploughing Championships in Tullamore on Tuesday to press the flesh and pose for selfies with anyone who'd have him.

The TD might not have made it from Kilgarvan to Offaly had it not been for the help of another well-known Kerry face.

After his car broke down, Healy-Rae was picked up by Kieran Donaghy.

Handily, Michael signs his tweets, ensuring we know it's not just some PR flunky from within the Healy-Rae Political Machine.
