Competitive action returned to the Towney Park pitch in Kilcar on Saturday allowing Sportsfile's Seb Daly to showcase the beautiful spot.

Kilcar against local rivals Killybegs (a team with a similarly beautiful pitch) in Division 1 of the Donegal County League was the occasion.

Kilcar ran out easy winners in the end, scoring 3-9 to Killybegs' 0-9.

The pitch is located just over a kilometre outside the village, overlooking the sea in the Towney part of the area.

Killybegs players get changed prior to the game.
