Kilcoo march on to the All-Ireland senior club final in two weeks time after a memorable win over a dogged St Finbarr's side today in Portlaoise.
The Ulster champions pulled away in extra time but the second half of the game finished in barely believable circumstances.
In the second minute of second half injury time, Stephen Sherlock of St Finbarr's hit a beautiful free from the ground to make it 1-10 to 1-10.
Kilcoo came right down the pitch and won a free after a debatable foul by Alan O'Connor. Kilcoo's freetaker Paul Devlin had every chance to winning the match only for his teammate Aidan Branagan to get into a scuffle with Barr's player off the ball.
After linesman David Gough had a word, referee Brendan Cawley produced a red card from his pocket. The opportunity for the free was gone and moments later, after a hop ball, the whistle was blown for full time.

Perhaps the ruling of the red card was harsh, but it was a needless incident for Branagan to get involved in with his teammate posed to win the game.
Branagan's indiscretion was quickly forgotten as the GAA rules state that teams are restored to 15 v 15 in extra time.
Kilcoo lead by three after the first ten minutes of added time and did not look back. The Down champions showed their superior fitness and ended up scoring eight times in the extra 20 minutes.
Kilcoo lost the 2020 final to Corofin in extra time but they'll be fancying their chances following today's memorable win.
