All-Ireland Ladies Football Final Sets Major Attendance Record

All-Ireland Ladies Football Final Sets Major Attendance Record
By PJ Browne

The Ladies Gaelic Football Association had a number in mind for today's All-Ireland final between Cork and Dublin, and they've exceeded it.

That number was 30,710, the attendance for this year's women's FA Cup final between Chelsea and Notts County.

31,083 turned up at Croke Park to see Cork defeat the Dubs, making the game the highest attended women's sporting event in Europe this year.

Sunday's turnout surpasses last year's final by 3,709.
