Loughmore-Castleiney completed an incredible Tipperary senior hurling and football championship double on Sunday.

They defeated Thurles Sarsfields 2-14 to 2-13 in a thrilling hurling final replay just a week after they beat Clonmel Commercials to claim the Tipperary football title.

Just as he did in the football final with a late goal, John McGrath hit the decisive score. This time, it was a free from a tight angle on the sideline in injury time which proved crucial.

Sportsfile's Harry Murphy was on the pitch after the final whistle to capture the celebrations.
