Clare's first appearance at Croke Park in five years recalled a moment from that 2013 All-Ireland winning season for the Banner.

In the drawn All-Ireland final against Cork, corner-back Domhnall O'Donovan fired over a dramatic equalising point to send the game to a replay.

"Oh, holy Moses!" was Marty Morrissey's reaction to the score that day on Radio 1 commentary.

The Clare man was once again high up in the Hogan Stand on radio commentary duty on Saturday. This time it was his co-commentator, Tomás Mulcahy, who produced a memorable moment.

The former Cork hurler declared that he had never heard of Jason McCarthy before his late equaliser against Galway.

I'd never heard of him before, Marty! But fair play to him. He's brilliant. What a score!

Come on referee, blow it up, give them another chance.
