You're a butcher in Castlebar/Belmullet/Westport and you suddenly see that sales have gone down on your biggest seller. The humble sausage is not what it used to be. What do you do?

You've tried spicing things up, you've tried spicing things down, you've tried turkey/chicken/ostrich sausages and none of it is working. Then an opportunity presents itself, do you take it? Hell yes you do.

You might say that there's no branding on that but whomever the butcher is, they were obviously crafty enough to not want to get caught. Instead they'll take the county wide increase in sausage demand that is sure to follow after this and be happy with it.

Either that or Mayo are just lowering expectations nice and early ahead of the Championship season. (There's also the possibility that sausages doesn't really mean sausages but we want to believe it was the butcher)
