Meath retained their All-Ireland Senior Ladies Football Championship title with a nine-point victory over Kerry at Croke Park on Sunday.
It was an emotional day for the reigning champions at full-time. Three players - Vikki Wall, Orlagh Lally, and Emma Troy - are likely to be unavailable next season. Wall and Lally are heading to Australia to play in the AFLW. As Meath manager Eamonn Murray explained to TG4 after the final whistle, "That's where the tears are coming from".
