Any thoughts that Kerry might be in danger of relegation from Division One of the Allianz League dissipated on Saturday evening in Castlebar as Eamonn Fitzmaurice's side defeated Mayo by three points.

Along with giving another senior outing to numerous young players, there was a debut for the new Kerry away jersey.

The Paul Galvin designed gold jersey is a departure from the blue of recent years.
