Three months after undergoing surgery for testicular cancer, Tipperary star Noel McGrath was back in action for his club Loughmore-Castleiney on Tuesday evening.

According to the Nenagh Guardian's Shane Brophy, McGrath came on as a sub in a Cahill Cup game against Holy Cross.

McGrath was back training with the Tipp panel last month and sat on the bench during their 16-point Munster semi-final win against Limerick.

The 24-year-old was a majorly influential player for his county in their run to last year's All-Ireland final.
