Fans of halftime scraps and sneaky brawls will be delighted that the CCCC has withdrawn their charge against Philly McMahon for letting his fists fly in the direction of Michael Shields during the League Final. McMahon was facing four weeks on the sideline for 'disruptive conduct'. Amazingly, all McMahon did was request a hearing with the CCCC over the matter before the charge was dropped. Shields took his medicine and has already begun his four-week ban. Bureaucrats, huh?
