O'Neills Have Just Dropped A Range Of Retro Inter-County Jerseys

Who doesn't love a retro jersey? There are some incredible jerseys in all codes around at the moment, but there's nothing quite like pulling on one that reminds you of some special moments from the past.

If you're a person like the one we described above, then we've got some good news for you.

O'Neills have released a range of retro jerseys, taking inspiration from some of the biggest moments from the 1980s and 1990s. In all, 16 counties feature and there are some unbelievable jerseys available.

Cormac Farrell, Marketing Manager O’Neills, explained the inspiration behind the new range:

During the COVID-19 lockdown period, GAA fans have been able to enjoy some of the great matches of the past which have been replayed on TV.

A lot of people commented on the jerseys and the demand was there to reproduce some of the classics.

Our retro range will appeal to those who remember the glory games from the first time around as well as those younger players and supporters who have only seen them for the first time more recently but wish to emulate the stars of a previous generation.

Each jersey, which also feature the retro O'Neills crest, is inspired by iconic moments from that county's history. For example, the Dublin jersey from the 1983 All-Ireland final win over Galway features, as does Cork's double winning jersey from 1990.

We can't wait to get our hands on these.
