Cork defeated Clare in Thurles on Sunday afternoon to retain their Munster Hurling Championship title. It's the first time since 2006 that Cork have won consecutive Munster titles.

A close fought game saw just two points between the sides at the final whistle. The game had looked to be going in the opposite direction at the half with Clare leading by four.
