Cork retained their All-Ireland camogie title with a seven point win against Galway at Croke Park. Along with Dublin, they now have 26 All-Ireland titles.

Briege Corkery was one of the stars for Cork, scoring the only goal of the game in the 54th minute. The victory meant Corkery claimed her 15th All-Ireland medal, this was her sixth in camogie.
